Funny story, when this happened at NJcon, I was at the end of the room, talking to some friends about how much I’d fallen a little in love with Osric since chatting to him on Thurs night. Then he did this & my brain puttered out a little, before falling a little deeper. Damn, i love that kid.

@DanneelHarris is one of the women I admire most because she is so giving to others but also because she doesn’t let the hate of some sour souls rain on her inner beauty. She rises above their cruelty and their beastly bullshit to be a better person than they will ever be. I want to be like that and more importantly I hope to one day walk up to her and give her the biggest hug in the world because she deserves it and inspires me to be better.
As someone who deals with hate for something I cannot control ( i was born with CP) someone who knows the pain of hurtful words that I am undeserving of, I gotta say I wish I had her ability to rise above like her and smile in spite of their shit.It shames me to know there are members of the #SPN fandom that treat her and Gen with such cruelty. I would wish you into Crowley’s underworld but even that is to good for the haters. I hope she sees and reads this and knows that some of us don’t look down on her but look up to her.

Always reblog this. A lot of the animals they kill (and they kill over 95% of the animals they take in at their Virginia Headquarters) are killed within 24 hours. Not nearly enough time to deem whether an animal is adoptable or not. They even bought a giant fridge to store the corpses!
PETA is a corporation. Not a charity. Less than 1% of their 32 Million+ annual budget actually goes to directly helping animals. Most of it is spent making sexist/racist/ domestic abuse supporting commercials that won’t even air on television, giving bail outs to convicted arsonists and criminals, hiring/supporting any celebrity that claims to be vegetarian for five minutes, creating campaigns to target children (“Your mom kills animals”), fruitless lawsuits like suing Sea World for violating the constitution, and most recently, making porn. I’m not against porn, but I fail to see how it fucking helps animals.
PETA does not give a shit about animals.
I’m about to cry

My apologies for the animal lovers that read this. But as I don’t know a lot about PETA (I live in the UK), I’m trying to find out whether this is genuine, or some sick smear campaign. Please tell me this isn’t true. :-(

I’m pretty emotional right now, but…
After Danneel tweeted the picture of her and Jensen, I happened to be just looking at it and then looked at other pictures of them together.
And I got really emotional. Not full on crying or anything, but a felt a wave of emotions come over me. Before anyone spoils it, because guaranteed some haters will find something wrong with what I feel, I am not stupid. I know that I have never, and will never know them personally so I can’t just decide they are perfect human beings, with no flaws, because every human has flaws.
No, the reason why I wanted to say this was because I literally cannot get over how much love they have for each other. They don’t have to express it in PDA or over the top love declarations - which isn’t in their characters I guess. It’s the smallest things that make their love what it is. And if you don’t believe me, look at what Jensen has said, without being over the top or giving away too much.

The Problem With The Big Bang Theory…
I’ve been meaning to post something about The Big Bang Theory for a while now but it’s taken me ‘till now to really understand what it is about the show that makes me uncomfortable. I’m not exactly a believer in the whole “only write about the things you like, don’t trash the things you don’t” trend which seems to be plaguing comments sections in negative articles lately, but I wanted to be able to really examine why I don’t like TBBT rather than just slagging it off. My main questions being - Why don’t I like this anymore? Why do I feel uncomfortable watching it? And why do I get so annoyed when I see people sing its praises online? The thing which really sparked this post was seeing a raft of comments on Facebook, below the last round of voting in Television Without Pity’s Tubey Awards, claiming The Big Bang Theory to be “the best comedy on TV”. This made me angry so instead of posting an impulsive comment calling out their bad taste which I’d probably regret later, I decided to really analyse why seeing comments like that made me so mad when previously, although I didn’t really love the show, I’d never considered myself as disliking The Big Bang Theory.
Hell, I even have season one on dvd, it’s sitting right between Battlestar Galactica and Bored To Death in my alphabetised collection.
And here, I think, is where my problem with The Big Bang Theory lies…
